The 1985 Mark VII LSC was the first American vehicle with electronic four channel anti lock brakes. The Mark VII featured standard equipment including an onboard trip computer and message center, digital instruments on all but the LSC models after 1985, and four wheel air suspension. The 1985 model year was the last for the Mark Series to include the Continental name as its nomenclature. The LSC was the performance model of the Mark VII, with firmer suspension and a more powerful engine.
