For 1985 Lincoln added a hands free mobile phone as an option on the Continental. At 3,135 dollars the expensive option was only offered for a single model year. The car was the 1984 revised Continental with wraparound headlamp housings, the digital instrument panel and an overhead console, a mid size luxury sedan that shared its platform architecture with the Ford Granada and Mercury Cougar sedans but not visible body panels.
