1993 Land Rover Discovery

Automobiles

In 1993 a four-speed automatic gearbox was added to the Australian range, early in the year, and the HL version was discontinued there. Special editions proliferated across Europe and Australia: the Freestyle and County Rider in France, the latter aimed at horse owners, and the ski-themed Rossignol in Australia, while the sold-out Orienteer was repeated for the 1993 model year. A revised version of the Irish Discovery Commercial van was launched, soon after the UK commercial of late 1992.
