For 2013 the Discovery 4 received a style freshening, with new badging, new fuel-saving technology and improved audio systems, plus new driver-assistance, comfort and safety equipment. In Ireland the five-seat commercial of 2012 went on to become the best-selling Discovery there. That year Jaguar Land Rover Limited became the single company responsible for designing, building and selling both Jaguar and Land Rover products, after the two businesses merged on 1 January 2013.
