1990 Jeep Wagoneer (SJ)

Automobiles

As a result of the 1990 oil price shock, gasoline prices in the United States rose 11 percent in less than a year. Sales of the gas guzzling Grand Wagoneer plummeted from over 10,000 units in 1989 to 6,449 in 1990. The 1990 Grand Wagoneer was the longest running domestically produced vehicle on the same platform, at the time in its 28th year, with a functional console, a storage compartment for sunglasses and an infrared remote controlled keyless entry system.
