In 2020 a facelift for the Compass was first launched in China, with slight visual changes to the exterior of the vehicle, and a completely redesigned interior. The Compass is assembled at plants in Italy, Mexico, Brazil, China and India, with North American and European models manufactured in Melfi, Italy, and Toluca, Mexico. In Brazil the second generation Compass started production on 26 September 2016 at FCA's Goiana plant.
