The Honda S800 had a single generation, introduced at the 1965 Tokyo Motor Show and available as either a coupe or a roadster, continuing the advanced technology of its predecessors. Early cars kept the chain drive and independent rear suspension, and 752 roadsters and 242 coupes were built; Honda then moved to a conventional driveshaft and a live rear axle located by four radius rods and a Panhard rod, and 604 roadsters and 69 coupes were built before disc brakes replaced the front drums. Production ended in May 1970. Each model year has its own page.
