1990 Honda Prelude

Automobiles

The facelifted Prelude debuted in the US for 1990, and the carbureted 2.0S was dropped, so that the fuel injected 2.0 Si became the entry model and was in turn replaced by a new Si with the B21A1 engine, with Si 4WS or Si ALB as optional trim models. Honda bored the B21A1 out to 83 mm for a displacement of 2,056 cc, giving up to 145 hp, and fitted a special FRM cylinder liner of fiber reinforced metal. Canada received the S, SR and SR 4WS models for 1990.
