Honda Pilot (third generation)

Automobiles

Honda showed the third-generation Pilot, chassis YF5 and YF6, in Chicago in February 2015, began building it in May and sold it from June 18, 2015 as a 2016 model. It was sleeker than its boxier predecessor with a 10 percent reduction in drag area, weighed about 300 lb less, and used a direct injected 3.5 liter V6 making 280 hp with a 6 speed or ZF 9 speed automatic. A new Elite trim joined the range, and it was refreshed in June 2018 for the 2019 model year. Each model year of this generation has its own page.
