Honda Odyssey international (fifth generation)

Automobiles

Honda announced the fifth-generation Odyssey, chassis RC, for the world market on its website on 26 September 2013, following the Concept M shown at the 2013 Shanghai Auto Show, and Japan began sales on 1 November 2013. Hinged rear side doors gave way to dual power sliding doors, as on most Japanese minivans today, the vehicle is bigger than earlier ones, and it has Honda's new 2.4 liter i-VTEC Earth Dreams engine making 175 PS. In Japan it also replaced the first generation Elysion. Hybrid and facelifted versions followed, production in Japan ended in December 2021, and the Odyssey returned to Japan in April 2023 as an import from China. Each model year has its own page.
