Honda showed the fifth-generation Legend, chassis KC1 and KC2, in Japan on November 10, 2014, and sales started on February 20, 2015. It is almost the same car as the Acura RLX, and it came only as the Sport Hybrid. The facelifted model was unveiled in Japan on October 2, 2017, and launched at the Tokyo Motor Show on October 27, 2017, with a front fascia based on the facelifted RLX and a length that grew to 5,032 mm, making it the longest Honda or Acura sedan to date. In June 2021 Honda announced the Sayama plant would close and the car would have no successor. Each model year has its own page.
