The Honda EV Plus had a single generation, a four-seat front-wheel-drive battery electric car with on-board conductive charging, regenerative braking, AC and heat pump climate control, HID headlights and an electrically heated windshield. The traction motor was rated at 49 kW at 8,750 RPM, the battery held 28.7 kWh, a recharge took 8 hours on a 240 V charger and top speed was over 80 mph. It tested the pancake-style motor, electronic control unit, power control unit and the nickel-metal hydride battery later used in Honda hybrids. Each model year has its own page.
