Deliveries of the Honda e began in summer 2020, and the car was sold in Japan from 2020 and in Europe from 2020. It won the Red Dot Best of the Best 2020 award in the automobile category. Its instrument panel, which extends the full width of the interior, consists of five screens, including a 220 mm instrument display, two large 310 mm infotainment touchscreens and two smaller 150 mm displays for the Side Camera Mirror System. Honda planned yearly sales of about 1,000 cars in Japan and about 10,000 in Europe.
