New interior features for 2008 included a 60/40 split folding rear seat and a remote trunk release on LX models. Canada got the LX-SR with a power moonroof, and with the EX-L trims the Civic offered a leather interior for the first time. The limited-edition Civic Mugen Si Sedan went into production, limited to 1000 units in Fiji Blue Pearl. The Civic Si received darker wheels and a new shift boot with red stitching, and it was the first year the Civic Si sedan was sold in Canada.
