Honda Prospect Motor began producing the 1.2 liter Brio in Indonesia in August 2013, both to meet demand there and to certify the Brio under the Low Cost Green Car program that the government sponsored. The qualified variants were given the Satya suffix, from Sanskrit for true or genuine, and only the lower grades, A, S and E, all with manual transmission, were initially qualified as an LCGC due to price limits imposed by the government.
