Honda built the sixth-generation Accord from September 1997, as a 1998 model, through 2002, and in Europe from 1998 until 2003. Honda divided the Accord into three distinct models, aimed at Japan, North America and Europe, and this generation produced the Type R for Europe and the Euro R for Japan. The American Accord, sold only as a sedan and coupe, became the largest Accord to date, and Honda decided to run this generation one year longer than the usual four. Each model year of this generation has its own page.
