Honda Accord (second generation)

Automobiles

Honda introduced the second-generation Accord on 22 September 1981 across Japan, Europe and North America, and it became the first Accord assembled in the United States, at the Marysville, Ohio plant. It modernised the interior and exterior of the original while using mechanically very similar CVCC engines, and in Japan it was joined by a sister model called the Honda Vigor. The body was restyled for the 1984 model year, Honda's PGM-FI fuel injection arrived in Japan in 1984, and the generation closed in 1985 with the fuel injected SE-i. Each model year of this generation has its own page.
