Holden Camira (JE series, 1987 to 1989)

Automobiles

Released in April 1987, the JE was the final series of Camira. By this time many of the Camira's early quality problems had been overcome, and Holden now fitted the multi point fuel injected 2.0 liter engine to replace the 1.8 liter unit. After Camira production wound up in August 1989, Holden replaced the Camira with the Apollo, a rebadged Toyota Camry. Its model years run from 1987 to 1989. This page belongs to the Holden Camira model on its Holden make page, and it links to the generation and the neighbouring model years so that the whole run of the model can be followed in order.
