The Toyota COMS is a single-seater electric microcar produced by Toyota Auto Body. The first generation was introduced by Araco in June 2000, a show car of the second generation was unveiled at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show, and Toyota Auto Body launched the production version in July 2012. COMS is an acronym for Chotto Odekake Machimade Suisui, which roughly translates to a smooth little excursion to the city. Toyota Auto Body introduced a revised COMS in April 2022, a limited P-COM version in October 2022 for the tenth anniversary of the launch, and the CN COMS Concept at an engineering exposition in Yokohama in May 2022. By March 2022 the second generation had sold 9,500 units.
