Subaru Outback Sport 2001-2007 (second generation)

Automobiles

The second-generation Subaru Outback Sport was launched in North America in 2001 for the 2002 model year, based on the second-generation Impreza, while in Australia the Impreza RV incorporated similar styling changes. It continued the formula set in 1994 of an Impreza-derived off-road themed hatchback with all-wheel drive, as distinct from the Legacy-derived Outback wagon sold beside it, and the Outback Sport as a whole ran until 2011 across three generations before the Subaru XV, now the Crosstrek, succeeded it.
