Holden Spark

Automobiles

The Holden Spark was the name of the fourth generation Chevrolet Spark, internally designated M400, in Australia and New Zealand, where the city car was sold through the Holden brand. Styled under the direction of GM Global Design Chief Michael Simcoe, it debuted at the April 2015 New York International Auto Show, and Australian sales commenced in February 2016 with two specifications. The LS was the base specification, with steel wheels, central locking and Holden MyLink infotainment, and the LT added 15 inch alloy wheels, keyless entry and a rear view camera. The Holden, Opel and Vauxhall variants used a 1.0 litre engine producing 75 horsepower. With light car sales decreasing in Australia, Holden announced in April 2018 that it would discontinue the Spark there, although the car continued to be sold in New Zealand until the demise of the Holden brand in 2020.
