The 2007 models of the Honda Life went into production on 2006-10-05, the first time a production Honda used the Honda Smart Parking Assist System. On 28 September 2006 minor changes were made, with the Honda Smart Parking Assist System, a simple type of voice guidance only, a factory option on the Happy Edition, the F Turbo, the Diva and the Diva Turbo in front wheel drive. The DIVA Special went on sale on 2006-06-07.
