In 1964 the Zodiac Mark III was an upmarket version of the Zephyr 6 with limousine type rear doors, a sharper roofline with a narrower C pillar and tail, a unique grille with four headlights instead of two, exclusive bumper bars and plusher seating. The 2,553 cc single carburettor six cylinder engine was improved internally to increase the power output to 109 horsepower, and a new four speed all synchromesh transmission was fitted.
