In January 2010 the Toyota recalls affected the Transit Classic in China, since Ford and JMC used the same supplier of accelerator pedals, CTS Corporation, and suspected the units were defective and posed a risk of unintended acceleration. The Transit Classic was the Jiangling built license version. In Europe the Transit was in its tenth year, with the V347 and V348 facelift, built in Southampton and Kocaeli.
