1945 Ford Prefect

Automobiles

Returning to the market in 1945, the Prefect was offered again after the war, with only four door saloons available on the home market and two door models made for export. A further 158,007 E93A Prefects were made between 1945 and 1948. The Australian E03A, built from 1939 to 1945, ended that year. The car used a 1,172 cc side valve engine and the vacuum powered windscreen wipers. It was a slightly longer four door car than the two door Anglia.
