1941 Ford Prefect

Automobiles

Production of the original Prefect was in 1941 the last of the pre war run, which lasted from October 1938 until 1941, with 41,486 made up to 1941. Production was then interrupted by the war. The E93A had a 1,172 cc side valve engine with thermosiphon cooling without a pump, and the Australian E03A continued to be built in this period, with an all steel roof. It was a slightly longer four door car than the two door Anglia.
