1993 Ford Mustang

Automobiles

For 1993 Ford switched to cast hypereutectic pistons in all 302 engines and re-rated the GT to 205 horsepower and 275 pound-feet, a more accurate figure than the earlier ratings. Under the newly formed Special Vehicle Team the Mustang SVT Cobra arrived with a 235 horsepower 302, and a Cobra R model was built with larger brakes, Koni shocks, an oil cooler and the rear seat deleted. It was the final year of the Fox body car.
