1976 Ford Mustang

Automobiles

Appearance packages drove the 1976 Mustang II. The Stallion group added styled wheels, a blacked out grille and two tone black accents, and the Cobra II package added a black grille, a simulated hood scoop, spoilers, quarter window louvers and racing stripes echoing the original Shelby Mustangs. The Cobra II was an instant success and probably lifted sales across the line. Ghia buyers got a broader Luxury Group with more colors and landau roofs.
