In June 2009 Ford Australia announced that the Titanium badge would also be used on Australian specification Mondeos, along with the release of the Mondeo station wagon there. The Mk IV was sold in Europe with the new electro hydraulic steering first used on the C-Max, Ford's human machine interface from the Galaxy and S-Max, and engines that included a 2.5 liter five cylinder turbo with 220 PS. As with the previous model it was not marketed in the United States or Canada, where the Fusion was sold instead.
