With the introduction of the 10 RAC horsepower Model C in late 1934, also available in DeLuxe form, the better equipped DeLuxe versions of the Model Y were dropped from sale. The Model Y was now built to a single specification that was essentially the same as the previous standard guise. Production in France, where the car was known as the Ford 6 CV, ended in 1934. Smaller numbers were assembled in Australia, Ireland, Japan, Latvia and Spain.
