1924 Ford Model TT

Automobiles

Starting in 1924 the Model TT was available with a factory produced body, no longer only as a chassis for the buyer to body. It was the one ton truck based on the Model T, with a 125 inch wheelbase and a heavier frame and rear axle, and a worm drive. Depot hacks, made by independent coachbuilders to carry luggage and passengers, were built on its chassis and not listed in Ford's catalogue. It was often fitted with an accessory gearbox for hill climbing.
