The Model AA had a single generation, powered by the same 201 cubic inch four cylinder engine as the Model A with an updraft carburetor and a six volt generator, with a four speed manual gearbox that had a creeper first gear for loaded work. It had mechanical brakes with four oversized drums and a rear suspension of leaf springs shackled to the axle. Its model years run from 1927 to 1932. The Model AA was Ford's truck companion to the Model A car, with a heavier chassis and a four speed gearbox for loaded work.
