Spoked wheels like those of the Model A, but much heavier, were used on the Model AA during 1928. The truck had a four cylinder engine of 201 cubic inches giving 40 horsepower at 2,200 revolutions per minute, with a four speed gearbox that had a granny first gear for loaded use. The Model AA was Ford's truck companion to the Model A car, with a heavier chassis and a four speed gearbox for loaded work. Ford built it from 1927, and the Soviet GAZ built a very large number of copies.
