Production of the Landau in 1974 came to 3,720 cars, a small increase on the previous year. It was the top model in Ford's Brazilian range, a four door sedan taken from the American 1966 Galaxie and built by Ford Brasil in São Bernardo do Campo. The Landau was Ford's top model in Brazil and the only large American style sedan the company built there. Ford Brasil produced it at its São Paulo area plant for twelve years.
