The Galaxy ended production in April 2023, almost twenty eight years after the first one, and it was the first Ford brand people carrier made and sold outside North America. In its last form it was a hybrid built by Ford of Europe at Genk. It was slotted between the Tourneo Connect and the Tourneo Custom in the Ford range, and was the first Ford brand people carrier made outside North America. The Galaxy was a seven seat people carrier that Ford built for the European market, sharing its platform with the Mondeo in its later forms.
