1967 Ford Galaxie

Automobiles

For 1967 the 7 Litre model no longer carried the Galaxie name, as a trim and performance option on the Ford XL, which was by then a separate model. All Fords had a large padded hub in the steering wheel centre, an energy absorbing steering column introduced late in the model year, padded interior surfaces and front shoulder belt anchors. Another safety change was the dual brake master cylinder, used on every later Galaxie.
