The last year of the Prata and Ouro versions was 1984, which had been the basic and top of the line trims since the car appeared in 1981. In 1984 the wagon was still called the Scala, and a 1.6 litre CHT four cylinder engine powered the car, which Ford built in Brazil. The Del Rey was a large family car that Ford built in Brazil, based on the Corcel II and sold under the Belina name as a wagon. It ran on either petrol or ethanol and was replaced by the Versailles, a Volkswagen Santana based car.
