2006 Ford Crown Victoria

Automobiles

Flex Fuel was introduced as an option in 2006. In 2006, once fleet and Police Interceptor sales, about 95 percent of production, were taken out, retail sales of the Crown Victoria dwindled to 3,000, which was within 1,100 units of the Ford GT, and the car was outsold by its Mercury Grand Marquis counterpart by 18 to 1. Under Ford's Way Forward plan the St. Thomas plant went to a single daily shift.
