1997 Ford Crown Victoria

Automobiles

From 1997 until their discontinuation in 2011, the Crown Victoria, the Grand Marquis and the Lincoln Town Car were the only four door sedans produced in North America with a full length frame, rear wheel drive and a standard V8. This was the last year of the first generation Crown Victoria, whose sales struggled to match those of the Grand Marquis, so for 1998 the Ford adopted much of the Mercury's design.
