1986 was the last year for the Corcel, and the Belina was also discontinued, though its name was then applied to what had been the Scala as the Del Rey Belina. In 1986 Ford Motor de Venezuela produced 2,244 Corcel IIs and 2,439 Corcel Ghias. The Corcel was a front wheel drive family car that Ford sold in Brazil and neighbouring countries, built on Renault underpinnings. Ford do Brasil gained the design when it bought Willys do Brasil in 1967.
