All Corcel models received a slight facelift for the 1985 model year, and the Corcel II was known again simply as the Corcel. The interior was now the same for all four models, and the Corcel and the Del Rey differed at the rear, with fastback bodywork for the Corcel. Ford do Brasil gained the design when it bought Willys do Brasil in 1967. The Corcel was a front wheel drive family car that Ford sold in Brazil and neighbouring countries, built on Renault underpinnings.
