The Corcel II was used in an FIA Group 1 one make championship in Brazil until 1983. In 1983 it was sold as a two door fastback sedan and as the Belina wagon, alongside the more luxurious Del Rey, and it was assembled in Venezuela as well as in Brazil. Ford do Brasil gained the design when it bought Willys do Brasil in 1967. The Corcel was a front wheel drive family car that Ford sold in Brazil and neighbouring countries, built on Renault underpinnings.
