Production of the American C-Max Hybrid ended in 2018, after the Energi had stopped the year before, so the United States line was over. The C-Max remained on sale in Europe, built in Germany, until Ford stopped making it in June 2019. The C-Max was a five door compact people carrier that Ford built on the same platform as the Focus. A longer seven seat version called the Grand C-Max sat above it in the range.
