For the 1992 model year the fifth generation Bronco followed the design of the ninth generation F-150, again retaining the chassis introduced for 1980, with a larger grille, front bumper and headlights in a slightly rounded front fascia. The interior saw updates to the dashboard and instruments, optional leather seats on the XLT and Eddie Bauer, optional remote keyless entry, and power mirrors for the first time. The monochrome Nite edition was offered for the last time.
