1997 Ford Aerostar

Automobiles

For 1997 the Aerostar's taillamps were revised for the first time, with the deletion of the amber turn signal lenses, XLT trim vehicles received newly designed seven hole alloy wheels, and a five speed overdrive automatic transmission was introduced for the 4.0 liter V6, a first in the minivan segment. 1997 was the final model year of the Aerostar, which Ford sold alongside the Windstar before ending the model line.
