Porsche Taycan

Automobiles

The Porsche Taycan is a battery electric luxury sports sedan and shooting brake that Porsche produces. Its concept version, the Mission E, debuted at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, and the production car was revealed at the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show. It is Porsche first series production electric car and is sold in several variants at different performance levels, on the J1 electric car platform that it shares with the Audi e-tron GT. The name refers to the steed on the Stuttgart coat of arms found on the Porsche crest, and the Turbo name on the higher trims means increased power rather than turbochargers. A coupe and convertible are planned as demand allows.
