The Charger changed slightly for 1970, its last year of the second generation, with a wraparound chrome bumper in front, a grille no longer divided in the middle and electric headlight doors. The 440 Six Pack with three two barrel carburetors and 390 horsepower joined the engine list for the first time, and loud High Impact colors such as Top Banana and Panther Pink were offered. The 1970 Charger won the most NASCAR races, and Bobby Isaac took the championship.
