For 2019 Dodge trimmed the line to six models, the SXT, GT, R/T, R/T Scat Pack, SRT Hellcat and the new SRT Hellcat Redeye, and made the Widebody Package available on the Scat Pack and the Hellcat models. The Redeye carried a detuned Demon engine rated at 797 horsepower. The starting price was more than $5,500 lower than that of the 2018 model. The Hellcat Redeye used a slightly less powerful version of the Demon's engine with a reinforced eight speed automatic transmission.
