At the 2018 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Fiat Chrysler's chief executive Sergio Marchionne said that the Grand Caravan was to be replaced by a new entry level minivan in line with the Pacifica architecture. The 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan remained in production unchanged from 2016 with a simplified lineup of the SE, SE Plus and SXT, and the 3.6 liter V6. The van was still built at Windsor Assembly in Ontario, and still carried the seven passenger Stow N Go seating.
