In 2012 Volkswagen halted production of the Routan at Chrysler's Windsor, Ontario, plant, despite a production contract that ran through 2014, but the Dodge Grand Caravan carried on there with the Pentastar V6. The Grand Caravan was sold in the United States, Canada and Mexico, and in Europe the same vans were marketed as the Lancia Voyager. The vans continued to be built at Windsor Assembly in Ontario, with the Pentastar V6 and the six speed automatic.
